Public Relations Specialist – DMV Music Alliance
Are you a media maven who loves connecting with journalists and influencers? DMV Music Alliance is looking for you to be our go-to person for all things press and media!
What You’ll Do
Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to spotlight DMVMA’s mission.
Press Campaigns: Strategize and execute press campaigns that get our events and achievements noticed—no need to create the content; our creative team has that covered!
Event PR: Coordinate press coverage for our events, including press conferences, launches, and community engagements.
Analytics: Monitor media coverage, track performance, and share insights to keep our strategies fresh and effective.
What You Bring
A knack for networking with media professionals and influencers.
Experience in managing press campaigns and building media relationships.
Strong communication skills and a passion for public relations.
Must reside within the DMV area (DC, Maryland, Virginia) so that you are familiar and networking with media outlets in this area.
