Event Coverage Team Member – DMV Music Alliance

🎤 Ready to rock the DMV music scene? We’re looking for passionate, energetic individuals to join our Event Coverage Team and help us spread the music magic! Create engaging content and connect with artists, industry professionals, and the DMV community!

What You’ll Do:
Organize and participate in street team activities such as event tabling, community outreach, flyer distribution, and grassroots initiatives.
Represent the organization positively and enthusiastically, keeping up to date with what we are working on, and communicating our impact and values.
Engage with community members, answering questions and promoting our mission and programs.
Take photos, record videos, and host live streams at the events while posting to our social media.
Interview artists, either ahead of time or at the event, and help to promote the event.
Possibly help artists with selling merch during events if requested.
Identify and pursue opportunities for collaboration with community organizations, businesses, and influencers.

What You Bring:
A love for various genres of music and knowledge of the industry.
A confident, friendly personality—you’re comfortable interviewing artists and professionals.
A love for engaging with people and having fun while promoting a good cause!
Creative, fresh ideas to keep our content exciting.
A good understanding of social media and how to make it work for you!
The Must-Haves:
Must be based in the DMV area (because we love local talent!)
You are reliable and can get to events with ease.
Flexibility for evenings and weekends and are able to work in person and at events (we like to keep it real).
